My wife and I paid the referenced company to provide services for a resume and cover letter (for each of us).
My wife’s resume and cover letter seemed adequate considering the cost of the service. Upon receiving my resume and cover letter, we noticed immediately that the company plagiarized the cover letter from my wife’s letter. In addition, the resume lacked sufficient detail and professionalism to be considered a competent resume as stated by an experienced and licensed career counselor (Name available upon request) from the Washington, DC area.
I contacted the company and stated that I may have been turned down for jobs because similar plagiarized documents prepared by their company might have also landed on the desks of human resource professionals to which I’ve applied. I requested a full refund for my wife and me. My request was declined despite obvious evidence that the documents were plagiarized.
When asked to comfirm the mailing address and CEO's name, the supervisor, Grace Kelly would not provide the information. In addition, supervisor claimed the company was headquartered in Westland, Michigan, not California as indicated by the BBB.
