I have experienced my hardest financial time for a number of years (since 2008) due to the collapse of the housing market from which I used to derive all of my income several years ago (by investing in homes myself for rental income) and as a licensed Realtor earning commissions. I began to be unable to pay my credit cards (not even the minimum payment) when I tolerated harassing creditor phone calls for years. Since I needed to find a job with a firm paycheck, I was hired as a part-time Legal Assistant in Palm Springs and that job ended in June of 2011. That's when things became extremely bad for me financially. Only receiving social security income and unemployment benefits has made it hard to keep up with my financial obligations.
Bankruptcy, Chapter 7, became my only option. So I tried to find a good lawyer with experience in that field by looking in the phone book and online. When I read about a "compassionate" bankruptcy attorney with his photo reflecting this and not too far from my home, I decided to make an appointment at the law office of Robert L. Firth in Cathedral City, CA. I felt comfortable with Attorney Firth at my very first 'free consultation' meeting and wrote him a check for $500.00 as partial payment on the spot to hire him for my problems. He listened very well and was indeed extremely understanding and compassionate. The same is true with his office staff, the friendly Receptionist Brooke Wright and his efficient Legal Assistant, Adriana Vazquez.
The entire time I had questions and concerns in connection with my bankruptcy, I got an immediate answer either by phone or by email. I was amazed at their efficiency and they made me feel as if I was their only client. I would recommend the law firm of Robert L. Firth to anyone without reservation whether it is about bankruptcy or any other matters they can handle.
