There are quite a few of us trying to get information on this company and coming up short. I am working with Robert F and we have a plan and should have information by middle of next week.
Feel free to contact me with your number or e-mail and whatever we find out will be passed along.
I already have a file open at the Florida Attorney Generals Office. Not a complaint yet, just keeping that office in the loop.
If I am wrong about them I will apologize to John S. but he is doing nothing to prove me wrong.
Maybe he is just really new at this I don't know.
If he made a real effort to look legit it would make me feel better about sending off cash.
But every bone in my body is telling me this is a scam.
Send me contact information and lets be honest about this, we need to make sure you are not part of any scam, and I will forward you what we learn.
And to the guy that says this is a great deal, help out your future fellows and show us what we need.
Good luck all.

Yea, I agree.
That is why they whole "school route" sounds so good.
But until I have proof, I will not send a dime.
And I would not expect anyone to send me money with the amount of "proof" they have provided either.
A few school admins could be paid to provide validation. School admins that could be verified on school web sites.
How hard can that be?
And for me, it wasn't the questions they answered, it was the questions they didn't ask.

About snack america Inc......
Hi, My name is Dewain and i'm in Tx. Unfortunately i just came across this site. And i've talked with John Santoro a few times and decided to go ahead with it. I paid the $3900. And since then he has called to get my shirt sizes and said that i would have to wear a uniform. The van has been ordered and he gave me a date when it would be in. He also called to set a training date when a guy would fly in and start the training. I was a little worried too and i guess i still am until i actually start work. It sounded like an awesome opportunity and i'm still hoping everything works out. If anyone has any real info about them let me know please.
I'd hate to have to try and get my down payment back. I will let you know how it works out.,

I talked to a guy by the name of Mike Walsh, and they claim you can make a 100k a year with the entire summer off. It just sounds like a scam. I emailed him back a bunch of questions, and he told me he would get back to me with answers, but just go ahead and send him the application. They also asked for the 10% down to hold the route($3,900). With promises of the money back if you decided not to buy the route. They also said they would pay 1200 a wk while in training which is like 90 days. I can't see 40-50 machines making 20,000 a wk in sales. These machines simply don't hold that much product. If you sold each item for a dollar(most are probably less) that's 20,000 items, into 50 machines that's 400 items per machine. anyone know if they there address, is actually a legit business address?

You ladies are all wet these are not vending machines ! My name is Erik and i started
training with Snack America this past Monday. You all should get your facts straight
before judging this company , they did everything they said they would for me I'm in
Arkansas and have completed my first week of training. I will keep you informed as to how this progresses from here. So far it seems to be a great program and we have
been accepted graciously at all of the schools.

Guys let me give you what I have found out at this point. I have a very close friend of mine that goes down to Boca Raton at least 2 times a month for business. Low and behold he was there this week so I asked him to pay a visit by their address @ 2385 NW EXECUTIVE CENTER DR. SUITE 100 BOCA RATON, FL. 33431. He went by on 11/4/09 and he stated that there was no business listed at this address as well as no Snack America labeled vans, no logos, nothing resembling Snack America at this location. From the beginning of seeing the website, I have been skeptical for the simple fact that the logo and phone number on the pictured van does not even look right. It looks to be placed on the van with a poor photoshop effort. You can't see the office. Everything is just too vague. As far as the guy who is supposed to be a distributor in the New York area, I called a number of schools in different districts. Not only have they never heard of him. They have never heard of Snack America. I also called schools in Boca Raton and got the same response. No one has heard of Snack America. As many of you, like Scott S., have done is asked questions of the guys like Geoffrey and Mike that they could not answer. After they tell you that they have distributors in certain areas and you ask for info on the business in that area, there is an excuse for you not to be able to verify. Yes we can call the government agencies as well as BBB or the Dept of Agriculture and find nothing derogatory about Snack America and that is fine. However this could also mean that no one has actually been able to act on them quick enough or the Snack America team has been buying time with excuses like van delays for the persons that they may have been able to dupe at this point. Another area of skepticism lies in the fact that you have to either wire money to their account or directly deposit it in their account. They will not accept CC transactions. This may be because they don't want anyone to be able to dispute the charges when they don't receive anything for what they have paid out. I could keep digging but right now unless some of these guys that claim to be distributors actually surface with some evidence, I will agree with Scott S. and call this one big HOAX!!!!!
