I'm looking to repair my credit file and boost my score. Has anyone dealt with First Trust Capital in Los Angeles? Or does anyone know a company that rated higher than them? Thanks!

Jihan,
Click the links above to view the company's BBB Report and TrustLink Reviews.
They've had a few complaints which they've responded to and given proper consideration.
California law requires that companies advertising or offering to improve your credit record, history, or rating must be registered with the California Attorney General's Office as a Credit Services Organization and post a $100,000 bond. To verify registration and bonding, contact the California Attorney General by writing to; DOJ. Att. Public Inquiry Unit, P O Box 944255, Sacramento, Ca. 94244, by calling (916) 322-3360, faxing 916-323-5341, or visit their website at www.ag.ca.gov.
You can always call a reputable nonprofit credit counseling agency (they are free). They will identify and explain your debt repayment options and help you with ongoing budgeting. The National Foundation for Credit Counseling's direct agency referral number is 800-388-2227. This will connect you to an accredited agency in your area. These agencies maintain strong service and case management quality standards. There is another association, www.aiccca.org, that is a network of counseling agencies that also abide by strong quality standards. Their network number is 866-703-8787. These steps are tiring and take time but won't cost you any money. Getting on top of your financial situation will make you feel empowered and you will feel more secure with a reputable counseling agency.

I guess it's more about the status of your credit accounts and how much you owe in total. Is is this information that helps you achieve further loans in the future. Most of the employers would also run a credit check prior to hiring you.
